Joe McDonald is the Owner,
Administrator and Publisher of NY Sports Day, as well
as Mr. Ranger for the New York Hockey Report. Joe
is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations,
the growth and expansion of the site. Besides NY Sports
Day, Joe has been published in the
Arizona Republic, Detroit
Free Press, Rockaway
Wave, Gotham
Baseball Magazine, SportsFan
Magazine, Hudson
Valley Renegades Official Site and the Albany
River Rats official site. He is 35 and now lives
in Massapequa, NY.

Gary Harding |

Gary,
an Administrative Manager for a Major Car Rental Group,
is the Islander Representative for the New York Hockey
Report. Formerly from Levittown, and now a resident
of Halesite, he has worked for New York Sports Day
since 2004, covering the Bridgeport Sound Tigers,
and Long Island Ducks. Gary is an accomplished
bowler, achieving the ultimate score, a 300 game on
May 4th, 1994. Gary was recently married on Valentines
Day 2006, says his favorite teams are the Mets, Jets,
Islanders, and Everton in the English Premier League.

Derek Felix |
 |
Derek
(seen here with former Ranger Stefan Matteau) is a
freelance writer that has covered the game of hockey
for a few years. He has written previews, recaps,
etc. for other websites. He also has worked with hockey
personality Stan "The Maven" Fischler. In
his time there, he contributed to Fischler's weekly
hockey column "The Fischler Report" as well
as writing several player profiles for Stan's Detroit
Red Wings' book. Derek has also worked for ESPN as
an NHL researcher contributing extensive stats research
to various telecasts.
