Earlier today, the Rangers made it official hiring former John Tortorella assistant Mike Sullivan.

The New York Islanders added four depth players Monday including former Ranger prospect Greg Moore. The 25 year-old from Lisbon, Maine was part of a pre-lockout deal that sent Chris Simon to Calgary, also including top penalty killer Blair Betts (UFA).

Blackhawks sign Barker, take care of business

With a potential nightmare created by the investigation into recent qualifying offers for some of their key players, the Blackhawks acted quickly re-signing six including defenseman Cam Barker to a three-year, $9.25 million deal.
